How pressure treatment works

The timber is loaded into a sealed cylinder; a vacuum draws air out of the cells, then pressure forces the preservative deep inside. Unlike surface antiseptic treatment, protection is not limited to the outer layer. Treat cut ends and drill holes with preservative after working.
