Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the eWood.lv online shop processes your personal data. The data controller is SIA DEURO (reg. No. 50103415601, Kurzemes pr. 48-56, Rīga, LV-1067). For questions about your data write to info@ewood.lv or call +371 29568256.

What data we process

When you place an order you give your first and last name, phone number, e-mail address and, if you choose delivery, the delivery address. Companies also give their name, registration and VAT numbers and legal address; self-employed people give their personal code (and VAT number, if VAT-registered) and address.

What the data is for

We use the data to accept and fulfil your order, issue the invoice and waybill, deliver the goods and contact you about the order. Invoice data is also kept because accounting and tax law requires it.

Who receives the data

We do not pass data to third parties for advertising. It is seen only by our staff and accountant, and by state authorities where the law requires it. For address search and route calculation we use map services, which receive only the address or coordinates, without your name. To fill in company details, the registration number or personal code is checked in the open data of the Latvian Register of Enterprises and in the EU VAT register (VIES) — only the number itself is sent.

How long data is kept

Order and invoice data is kept for as long as accounting law requires. Other data is deleted when it is no longer needed to fulfil the order.

Cookies

The site uses only the cookies it needs to work: they remember the chosen language and the contents of the cart. We do not use advertising cookies. So that you do not have to type everything again next time, your browser remembers the contact details entered at checkout; they are kept only on your device and can be erased with the “Clear and stop remembering” link on the checkout page.

Your rights

You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to restrict or object to processing. To do so, write to info@ewood.lv. If you believe your data has been handled incorrectly, you may contact the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (www.dvi.gov.lv).
