This section offers cladding boards (tongue-and-groove panelling) in pine and spruce — a versatile material for walls and ceilings in rooms, attics, balconies and saunas, as well as façades, gables and outbuildings. The tongue-and-groove joint quickly gives a neat, flat surface and hides uneven walls. We make all our cladding and finishing boards ourselves in Latvia, so you buy direct from the producer.
Choosing cladding
- 14 or 16 mm — light boards for ceilings and interior walls.
- 18 mm — stiffer, good for wider batten spacing.
- 17×145 mm — wide board for large walls and façades.
- Pine and spruce are of equal quality; ask which species is in the current batch.
Interior and exterior use
Indoors, let the boards acclimatise in the room for a few days, then finish with oil, wax or stain. On façades leave a ventilation gap behind the cladding, keep the tongue facing up on horizontal boards and use exterior paint. Order by wall area minus openings, plus a 5–10% reserve.
