Sizes

• 30×92 mm — the classic board for living spaces.
• 35×92 mm — thicker and stiffer, better for wider joist spacing and busy areas.
• Lengths: 3.0, 3.6, 4.2 and 4.8 m.

Tips before laying

• Reserve: add 5–10% to the room area for cutting and joints, more for awkward layouts.
• Acclimatisation: leave the boards in the room for a few days before laying so the wood adjusts to its temperature and humidity.
• Lay boards across the joists and leave a small gap at the walls, hidden later by the skirting.
• Finish: sand and treat with oil, wax or lacquer — oil keeps the natural feel of the wood.

Yes, we make our softwood tongue-and-groove floor boards ourselves in Latvia — no resale. That means producer prices, and custom sizes are available on request.

How much do floor boards cost per m²?

How many boards are in 1 m²?

A 92×3000 mm board covers about 0.28 m², so roughly 3.6 boards per m². The calculator shows the exact figure for each length.

Pine or spruce?

Both work well. Pine has a stronger grain and warmer tone; spruce is lighter and more even.
