Unedged boards in pine and spruce — softwood boards with natural, untrimmed edges (wane). They suit rustic cladding, fences, sheds, formwork and garden projects. We saw them ourselves at our own mill in Latvia rather than reselling, so you buy direct from the producer in Riga. Pick the thickness, width and length and the calculator shows the price per piece and per m³ straight away. We deliver with our own truck in Riga and the surrounding area, or you can collect from our warehouse.
Typical uses
- rustic cladding for façades, sheds and saunas — the natural edge gives a relaxed, natural look;
- fences and enclosures in the yard or garden;
- sheds, shelters, log stores and other outbuildings;
- concrete formwork and temporary structures;
- raised-bed edging, garden paths and other garden work.
Sizes
Thickness 25, 30, 35 and 40 mm; width 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 mm; lengths 3.0, 3.6, 4.8 and 6.0 m. The width of an unedged board is approximate: it varies along the length, so the stated width is an average. The boards are fresh-sawn with natural moisture, so stack them on spacers to dry in a ventilated place before cladding or finishing. For straight-edged work choose fresh-sawn boards and beams.
How many pieces in 1 m³
Piece volume = thickness × average width × length in metres. A 25x150 mm board, 6 m long: 0.025 × 0.15 × 6 = 0.0225 m³; 1 ÷ 0.0225 rounded down = 44 pieces. At 3 m length you get roughly twice as many.

FAQ
How much do unedged boards cost?
€298 per m³ excl. VAT (€360.58 incl. 21% VAT for private buyers). The price per piece for each size is shown in the calculator.
Why is the width approximate?
The edges of an unedged board are not straight, so the stated width is an average — along its length a board may be slightly wider or narrower.
What is the difference between unedged and edged boards?
Edged boards have both edges sawn straight; unedged boards keep their natural edges. Unedged boards suit cladding and outbuildings where a straight edge is not needed.
Do you produce them yourselves?
Yes, we saw these boards ourselves in Latvia.
All boards and beams: Sawn timber.
