Planed boards and beams C24 in pine and spruce — calibrated softwood timber, planed on all four sides and graded to strength class C24 for structural use. They suit wall and roof framing, floor joists, rafters and partitions, as well as structures that stay on show. We produce them ourselves in Latvia rather than reselling, so you buy direct from the producer in Riga. Pick a section and length and the calculator shows the price per piece and per m³ straight away. We deliver with our own truck in Riga and the surrounding area, or you can collect from our warehouse.
Typical uses
- wall framing for timber-frame houses and extensions — 45x95, 45x145, 45x195;
- rafters and floor beams — 45x195, 45x245;
- floor joists — 45x145, 45x195;
- interior partitions, battens and cladding frames — 22x45, 35x45, 45x45, 45x70;
- exposed structures — shelters, gazebos, deck roofs and interior features.
What C24 means and why planed timber
C24 is a strength class for structural softwood under EN 338, used when designing load-bearing structures. Planed, calibrated timber has the same section piece after piece, so framing goes up straight, insulation fits tightly and exposed surfaces are smooth without extra planing. Pine is denser and more resinous; spruce is lighter and paler.

How many pieces in 1 m³
Piece volume = thickness × width × length in metres. A 45x145 mm beam, 6 m long: 0.045 × 0.145 × 6 = 0.03915 m³; 1 ÷ 0.03915 rounded down = 25 pieces. At 3 m length you get roughly twice as many.
