Fresh-sawn boards and beams in pine and spruce — softwood lumber for building, framing, roofs and general work. We saw it ourselves at our own mill in Latvia rather than reselling, so you buy direct from the producer in Riga. Pick a section and length and the calculator shows the price per piece and per m³ straight away. We deliver with our own truck in Riga and the surrounding area, or you can collect from our warehouse.

Typical uses

• wall framing, rafters and roof battens — 50x100, 50x150, 50x200 beams;
• joists, posts and load-bearing structures — 100x100, 150x150 and larger;
• concrete formwork, scaffolding, temporary structures — 25x100, 25x150 boards;
• sheds, shelters, log stores and other outbuildings.

Pine or spruce, sizes

Pine is denser and more resinous; spruce is lighter, paler and easier to work. Fresh-sawn lumber has natural moisture, so stack it on spacers to dry in a ventilated place before finishing. For outdoor use or ground contact choose antiseptic-treated or pressure-treated boards and beams.

Standard sections run from 25×50 to 400×400 mm in lengths of 3.0, 3.6, 4.8 and 6.0 m (25 mm boards also 4.2 m; 25×50 and 50×50 only 3.0 m). Custom sizes: thickness 20–300 mm, width 50–300 mm, length up to 6 m.

How many pieces in 1 m³

Piece volume = thickness × width × length in metres. A 50x150 mm beam, 6 m long: 0.05 × 0.15 × 6 = 0.045 m³; 1 ÷ 0.045 rounded down = 22 pieces. At 3 m length you get roughly twice as many.
