Sizes

• 35×95 mm — narrower board with a finer look, handy for small decks and jetties.
• 35×145 mm — wide board, quicker to lay, fewer joints on large areas.
• Lengths: 3.0, 3.6, 4.2 and 4.8 m.

Building a deck that lasts

• Substructure: use antiseptic-treated or pressure-impregnated joists and keep them off bare ground.
• Gaps: leave a few millimetres between boards so water drains and the wood can dry.
• Reserve: add about 10% to the area for cutting.
• Finish: treat with decking oil or an exterior wood protector and renew it every one or two seasons.

Do you produce these boards yourselves?

Yes, we make our softwood decking boards ourselves in Latvia — no resale. That means producer prices, and custom sizes are available on request.

How many decking boards per m²?

A 145×3000 mm board covers about 0.44 m² (around 2.3 per m²); a 95×3000 mm board about 0.29 m² (around 3.5 per m²). Gaps reduce this slightly.

What should the joists be made of?

Rot-protected beams — antiseptic-treated or pressure-impregnated.
