Tips for building benches

• Round off the edges and sand the surface.
• Leave gaps between boards so water drains and the bench dries quickly.
• Fix screws from below or countersink them — metal gets hot in a sauna.
• Do not varnish benches; if protection is needed, use a sauna oil or wax. Air the sauna after use.
• Add about 10% reserve to the quantity.

Yes, we make our aspen sauna boards ourselves in Latvia — no resale. That means producer prices, and custom sizes are available on request.

How many boards for one bench?

Divide the bench depth by the board width (9 cm) plus the gap: a 60 cm deep bench with 1 cm gaps needs 6 boards.
